Dr Yi Jia is currently a researchscientist at MlT, After graduating from XTU, Yi Jiawent to MlT and joined AMS collaboration as agraduate student in 2016. She obtained her Ph.D.degree in August 2018 under the supervision ofProfessor Samuel Ting. After graduation in 2018, shestayed as a postdoctoralassociate and then aresearch scientist at MT She developed a newmethod of tracker charge measurement which led tosignificantimprovements in the AMS chargeresolution, thus paving the way for the unexploredfux measurements of heavy cosmic nuclei. She alsoled the analysis of the daily time variation of the mostabundant cosmic rays: protons and helium nuclei.
