报告摘要：
High-energy particle accelerators are the most important research tools forthe fundamental and applied research in physical science. The findings based on high-energy particle accelerators have changed our perception of the Universe dramatically. The recent restarting LHC will explore the properties of the Higgs particle(“God particle”)inmuchdeeper level and may unravel many more unknowns of the Universe, e.g. dark matter. In this talk, I will review the development of particle accelerator science and technology in its past and introduce the state-of-the art accelerator technology nowadays. In addition, the future of this field will also be discussed.
