应能源与动力工程学院所属核科学与技术学院王盛教授、胡华四教授之邀，日本理化学研究所高级研究员（Senior Scientist）竹谷篤（Atsushi Taketani）博士将访问我校，并将给我们带来两场学术报告：
(1) Accelerator-driven compact neutron source and fast neutron imaging
Accelerator-driven neutron source in Japan
Neutron has been widely used in many fields. In this talk, the neutron property and neutron applications will be briefly introduced. The background, the key technologies, and the industrial applications of accelerator-driven compact neutron source will be presented. The fast neutron imaging system development aiming for non-destructive inspection of large industrial products like aircraft or ship, or large scale structures like bridges, buildings will be talked.
