Abstract：We’re entering the Analytics 3.0 phase where enterprises are making decisions at quantum
speed using the powerful combinations of advanced analytics techniques against big data. This
revolution shift brings businesses
tremendous opportunities for developing new competencies and achieving successes. This presentation
summarizes some major initiatives North Carolina academics and businesses have been taking to
demonstrate the development and impact of data analytics in the US. Examples of potential data analytics
research in China are discussed at the end.
