摘 要：
Ideas of MED and BED have been proposed in early 1980s as ‘ultimate device’ in high-density memory, low-energy consumption, complicated biomimetic circuitry, and so on. Historical review of MED and BED developments will be presented from the viewpoint of ‘future electron devices’.
