讲座内容: 摘要:Using quantum coherent effects provides means to control nonlinear optical processes in various media. We predict several new effects: for example, forward Brillouin scattering and enhancement and control of coherent generation in the backward direction by applying only forward propagating fields. The applications range from development of hyper-dispersive materials, improvement of spatial resolution beyond diffraction limit to generation of squeezed and entangled light.
