讲座简介:

高压直流输电线路的全面建设和快速发展对于充分发挥可再生能源的潜力起到了重要作用。此次报告中,我们将探讨有关HVDC建设的发展背景及行业高速发展可能导致的潜在风险。如何保障电能供应的可靠性将是本次研讨会主题之一。此外,我们将针对如何实施适当的测试、监测和诊断技术来确保可靠的能源供应提出一些设想。演讲结尾将设置问答环节并进一步展望行业未来发展趋势。

The rapid deployment of high voltage DC transmission lines has been essential for opening up the full potential of renewable energy sources. In this talk, we will look at the background of these developments and potential pitfalls that may arise as a result of the pace at which these developments are taking place. Safeguarding the reliability of the electrical energy supply will be one of the topics that will be touched upon. Some ideas will be presented on how to secure a reliable energy supply by implementing proper testing, monitoring and diagnostic techniques. At the end of the presentation, we will look a bit into the future by defining a number of questions that we need to have answered.

 

专家简介:

Peter Morshuis

Peter Morshuis在代尔夫特理工大学获理学硕士和博士学位,毕业后留校担任高电压工程副教授至2016年。2012年,Peter创立了Solid Dielectric Solutions(固体电介质解决方案公司),该公司专注于电介质和电气绝缘领域的培训、教育及咨询工作。2015年,Peter首次开展一年一度的IEEE DEIS暑期学校系列活动,为电介质领域的年轻研究人员提供了全新挑战。目前,Peter担任英国南安普顿大学客座教授,研究领域包括介电材料、高压直流电缆设计和测试以及电活性聚合物的应用。2021年至今,他始终致力于进行一个将海洋波浪能转化为电能的国际项目。目前,Peter共撰写并参与发表了300余篇科技论文,长期活跃于IEEE DEIS并组织开展DEIS暑期学校,担任IEEE国际电介质会议(ICD)国际咨询委员会主席。作为IEEE杰出讲师,Peter Morshuis在2013年被授予E. O. Forster Memorial Lecture。

Peter Morshuis received his MSc and PhD degrees at Delft University of Technology, where he was an Associate Professor in High Voltage Engineering until 2016. In 2012, he founded Solid Dielectric Solutions, a company focusing on training, education and consultancy in the field of dielectrics and electrical insulation. In 2015, he started the annual IEEE DEIS Summer School series, challenging young researchers in the field of dielectrics. Currently he is guest professor at the University of Southampton, UK. His current research focusses on dielectric materials, high voltage DC cable design and testing, and electro-active polymer applications. Since 2021, he is leading an international project on the conversion of ocean wave energy into electrical energy. He authored or co-authored more than 300 scientific papers. Peter is active in IEEE DEIS, organizing the yearly DEIS Summer School and chairing the International Advisory Committee of the IEEE International Conference on Dielectrics (ICD). He is an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer and he was awarded the E. O. Forster Memorial Lecture in 2013.
