As a result, mesoporous materials have broad applications in catalysis, adsorption, separation, sensor, energy storage, drug delivery and controlled release, and so on. In this presentation, the synthesis, surface modification of bulk periodic mesoporous (organo)silicas (PM(O)Ss) and monodisperse mesoporous (organo)silicas will be addressed, and their applications in catalysis, luminescent materials, drug adsorption and controlled release, ultrafast adsorption of protein will be introduced.
