报告摘要:
Barely visible impact damage in composites is caused by low-velocity impacts and leads to a significant loss of material strength.Delamination-destruction of contacts between plies-can be predicted by modeling the elastic wave pattern during impact.Grid-characteristic method is used, because it is designed for solving dynamic problems in deformable solids with regard to any complex border and contact conditions.

讲座人介绍

Dr.Katerina Beklemysheva, Obtain her Ph.D degree in Department of Computational Mathematics,MIPT and is currently the Assistant professor of the Department of Computational Mathematics,MIPT. Her research interest includes numerical mathematics, mechanics of deformable solids,destruction of materials,mechanics and destruction of composites,ultrasound non-destructive testing-engineering and medical applications, biomechanics, and ice mechanics.
